consider individuals as individual lines. they run in diffrent directions. and you take note of those who do run the same way that you do. in similar trajectories. at relative acceleration. for it is when multiple lines meet in tangent to each other do they determine meaning. it is then do they create planes and define a collective effort, from a set of points to a grasped surface. and when these happen, as rarely as they usually do, it inspires satisfaction. because the direction of truth is driven by a few, but never in isolation.

but at times surfaces are broken. and you wonder who broke away, you or them? you take note of the dot in the line where you stand now. and try to determine why and how you are here right now. you try to remember the objective that drove you here, and eliminate the factors that you regard irrelevant for achieving your goal. it was never abt the status, never abt the money, never abt being better than anybody else, never abt taking other people down. it was purely out of fun. because of the satisfaction in accomplishment and the journey towards it. and take note of that tiny dot of existence. appreciate it, for no matter how small it is you've earned it. it is a concrete identity. it is yours and nobody can take it away from you.

and if anybody else declares territory over it, you owe it to yourself to fight for it. claim what is yours but only what is yours. respect other dots in your field. for it is their existance that establishes yours. it is your distant adjacency that defines where you are in the field even if your drive in diffrent directions. and thus you help each other out either in terms of competition or cooperation.

but you cant expect everybody to play fairly, but rest assured that if you do the individuals you have to establish close connections with run also in the same principles that you do. the wise play along the tracks with their co-wise. and thieves with co-thieves. so leave your frustrations and insecurities at bay. theres no need for them if you know what your doing and you know where you stand.

and if you come across a system you cant break, shrug away. for the most of us, we study A, not law. so if you cant push A let those who can do.

narrowing in just down to 5 was tough enough that the following came perty close: chicosci, alesana, chiodos, lostprops, paramore, keso, urban dub, kjwan, postal service, rookie of the year, skin dred autumn to ashes, kenotia, death cab, typecast.. and the list goes on.. new sound trip playlists for this year too. a lot coming from multiply. so kudos to you guys in multiply and of course to above said artists that made this year one long cool music video for yours truly.

What was the first song you ever heard by 1?
rookie of the year.. the title was so catchy it grabbed my attention instantly. the entire 'casually dressed' album proved to be more than just title hype.

What is your favorite album of 2?
close call between the 'panic' and campaign' album. but i have to go with campaign. they certainly matured from panic setting a straight post hardish course. less screams too and i kinda like it that way. how can plane go wrong with tracks like 'anthem', 'element was fire' and 'waves calling to embrace'. but the panic album is definitely great too, with 'like a spinning machine, from tokyo, and college coed'. seriously this band is soo underated, while exhibiting so much talent in creating music. hopefully these guys would have more gigs this year. and hopefully, i would get to catch them this time around. i just hope theyre at least as good live as in recording.

'when finally set free'. i didnt like cope at first, but this song attracted me to listen to the entire album. the guitar riffs for this song is so mood settling, even hypnotic.
